Hello! It is my pleasure and passion to work as a massage therapist offering stress and pain management in our Davis community. Licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council and a professional member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, I have over 15 years experience offering a variety of modalities to suit your needs. I am certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromusclar work, Prenatal, Hot Stone Massage, Ashiatsu Barefoot Bar Therapy, and Sarga Bodywork.
I approach each session with a brief pre-massage consultation where the client and I develop a session plan. I use slow, focused massage strokes to induce deep relaxation and release tension in knotted muscles and stressed minds. I encourage communication on pressure, temperature, music volume, and other elements of the massage. I will not distract you with chit chat or small talk during your session. This is your time and I want you to get the most of it leaving feeling relaxed, refreshed and full of endorphins! Warm towels for the back and feet, flaxseed heat packs, and optional aromatherapy are included complimentary with each service.

Pennie, a Davis local, returned from San Diego 3 years ago. She has a bachelors in Art History and Criticism from UC San Diego, in addition well over 2000 hours in alternative healing training. Her extended education includes Massage, Esthetics, Aromatherapy, Western Herbology, Emei Qigong, and Holistic Health.
Her work in the Spa and Wellness industries spans over 15 year in many diverse venues from resorts, to sporting clubs, outdoor events, massage clinics, one Alaskan mountain top, and several spas. She has had the good fortune and diverse opportunities to work with people from many walks of life. Her clients range from geriatric clients, professional athletes to expectant mothers.

Katie began her massage career here in Davis in 1999 and is certified by the California Massage Therapy Council, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Assoc. She is certified in nearly 30 modalities which she weaves seamlessly into all her massages. Her unique combination of knowledge, experience and intuition, as well as real listening, presence and focus combine to make a truly customized massage experience.
